Panto Information
Treasure Island - The Panto - 17th - 20th December 2026
We're always on the lookout for fresh faces and enthusiastic talent, if you would like to get involved behind the scenes please get in contact to let us know what you can offer.
After a thorough refit, the good ship Hispaniola is scheduled to relaunch on 3rd June. Sea trials will run until 14th June, when the ship’s company will be chosen and prepared for the voyage ahead. With the crew assembled and the sails trimmed, the Hispaniola will set course for Treasure Island on 7 September.
The script is ready and absolutely, definitely, positively not changing before rehearsals begin in September.Once rehearsals start, all bets are off. Expect tweaks, twists, local jokes, and the occasional ‘Oh no it doesn’t!’ as we polish the rhythm, pace, and general silliness to perfection.

Auditions (what to expect)
- Audition pieces for each character will be ready soom, or sent straight to you if you already know which swashbuckling role you’ve got your eye on.
- You’ll need to have your audition lines learnt (yes, learnt… no peeking at the script!), but fear not: a trusty “Reader” will be on hand to deliver the other parts with great enthusiasm and absolutely no judgement.
- For roles that require a bit of vocal magic, there’ll be a short singing section, from memory, of course. The official audition songs will be unveiled on launch night and then made available to all via the HADS website
